Coco & Souls is a unique ethically-made jewelry and wall decor jewelry brand with a mission of creating sustainable coconut shell jewelry. We craft with locally-sourced coconut shells handmade by artisans in El Salvador.

Due to limited resources in the small country, Salvadoran artisans that live along the coast, have always been very resourceful and have been looking for ways to earn a living. Jewelry making has always been a tradition around the coastal regions. Artisans have been using shells, fish bones and coconut shells as raw materials for their jewelry creations. 

Our eco-friendly jewelry is all about closing the loop and about designing pieces made with repurposed materials that respect and celebrate nature. Sustainable jewelry (earth friendly) is about being resourceful and looking for those hidden gems that otherwise go unnoticed.

The organic coconut shells we use are a by-product of the food industry or shells that are found lying around the shores. Normally these would go to waste, but we are be giving them a second life. Instead, we are upcycling them, hand cutting, polishing and transforming into our designs to revel in their beauty.

Our repurposed upcycled jewelry pieces are a true delight to accessorize with and perfect for every day.  We want our customers to be able to wear these pieces proudly knowing their backstories of conservation, transformation, and empowerment.
